Regent Parrots
Took half an hour to inch my way close enough to get this shot. This pair of Regent parrots saw me coming and were ready to fly if I made the slightest move. They are a breeding pair and were keen to feed in the shadows of a eucalyptus tree with the bright farmland in the background. The female is more yellow and she is on the left. Some of my favourite photos have a butterfly passing through the shot!
