Really tricky lighting on this shot. Looking way into the shadows of the distance. Waited for the silvereye to climb down this branch, and at the last moment the birds weight pulled the branch down into a ray of sunlight.

The Encounter

Juvenile seagull meets stingray.I liked the feathers on this young seagull and while photographing it, a stingray came into the shallows. I hoped there might be some interaction and then the seagull jumped on the stingray's back and surfed this wave together.
