A delightful parrot found throughout the Southwest and Metropolitan areas of Western Australia. It has a call that sounds very much like someone saying 'twenty-eight' which is how it got its nickname.

A sweet parrot of Western Australia. Affectionately known as a 'twentyeight' as it's bird call sounds like the word twentyeight. This was the most amazing tree. Do you see the grumpy old man face? But the most incredible part is if you turn the image upside down, the expression changes to laughter!
