Male Splendid Fairy Wren in Eclipse

Taken on 29 Feb 2020. A favourite shot. When it is the first photo of the day and you may as well have gone home after this one.

The chick in front is a young female and the adult female is behind

Splendid (male) Fairy Wren in 'eclipse'. He is clinging to a tall Dandelion weed in a field of dandelions. You can see all of the yellow flowers. I almost wanted to unsaturate this photo, because the colours were just so vibrant, but chose to leave it untouched.
