Interesting to see this finch (Munia) in Southern California. I believe it is an Asian bird. I've also seen photos of them in various parts of Australia, so I was not expecting it in the USA also

Wild Bobcat - Laguna Beach California
A real privilege to see this wild bobcat in plain view in Laguna Beach. I was only in town for a few days and this was a rare sighting. The only other time I briefly saw a bobcat there was 40 years ago.

How lucky that this wild bobcat sat in the open for several minutes before wandering on it's way again. The black feather tips on it's ears are very visible here
