A very common lizard here in Western Australia. Their colours vary, but they do fit into the landscape. Also known as blue tongued lizard. The orange face on this fellow really helped with its camouflage. A closer look reveals his hitchhiker, a giant tick embedded in his neck. This is kangaroo country and a slow moving lizard will easily suffer this fate.

A heritage building, still a movie theatre in October 2020 however there are discussions it may be sold and could lose it's heritage status (be demolished) so I wanted to capture a few photos of it in case it were to be demolished without warning I took the series of photos while standing on a ladder
