Every year I try to create a selfie using a cable release and a head torch. I liked the shadow of this sculpture on the sand and the full moon. This was a 31 second exposure at F22 taken at 0538am. I ran into the scene and ran out again which is why there is a ghost trail. This part of the beach was heavily lit by street lights and security for the artwork which is why it is so bright so far before sunrise.
